BEN CAMPOPIANO ([email protected])
Ben Campopiano founded Bronco Baseball Academy (www.BroncoBaseballAcademy.com) in 2001 with his brother Jon, and continue to owns and operates the youth baseball organization. Bronco Baseball Academy (BBA) offers week-long summer camps for kids between 5-12 years old, and welcomes over 125 campers per week and 500 campers per summer.

Ben is in his third school year as Principal at Miramonte High School in the Acalanes Union High School District. He was hired by AUHSD in July of 2021 after serving as the Principal at Pine Hollow Middle School in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District for three years. Prior to becoming a Principal, Ben was a Vice Principal, Common Core Instructional Coach, and Social Studies Teacher, and baseball coach at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek. While at Northgate he coached baseball for seven years, serving as an assistant coach to his brother Jon who was the head varsity coach, and then served as the head varsity coach for two years in 2010 and 2011. Ben left Northgate to become the Director of Baseball Operations at Santa Clara University from 2011-2013 (full time) and 2013-2015 (part time). Ben lives in Lafayette with his wife Lauren and two kids, Kate (8) and Will (5).


YOGI YEEND ([email protected])

Yogi Yeend has been coaching youth baseball and softball for over 15 years, when he finished his baseball career after playing four seasons at York college. Yogi first began coaching at Northgate High School with Jon and Ben Campopiano and then expanded his coaching career by working with youth softball teams.

Yogi currently volunteers his time coaching multiple youth baseball and softball teams and serving as the Director of Softball Instruction for Walnut Creek Little League. Through these roles, he imparts not only technical skills but also invaluable life lessons of teamwork and perseverance. Yogi's passion for baseball extends far beyond the game, as he dedicates himself to nurturing the next generation of athletes and fostering a sense of community within the sport. Yogi works in the education software industry and lives in Walnut Creek with his wife and three children.


JON CAMPOPIANO ([email protected])
Jon Campopiano founded Bronco Baseball Academy (www.BroncoBaseballAcademy.com) in 2001 with his brother Ben when he was the head varsity baseball coach at Northgate High School. Jon was Northgate's head baseball coach from 2000-2003 and then again from 2007-2009. During his time as the Broncos' head coach, Jon led Northgate to three league championhsip,  two North Coast Section championship games and had the highest coach's winning percentage in school history. 

Currently, Jon is in his third year as the Executive Director of Secondary Educator for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Prior to that positon, he served as Middle School Principal and High School Administrator and Athletic Director. Jon lives in Walnut Creek with his wife Karna and his three sons who play baseball at the high school and collegiate level. 


KEVIN SULLIVAN ([email protected])

Kevin Sullivan brings over eight years of coaching experience to the baseball arena. He dedicated four years to coaching at Northgate High School and another four at Reedley Junior College, serving as the outfield and hitting coach.  Currently, he occupies the role of Assistant Athletic Director at Miramonte High School, leveraging his expertise and experience to support the school's athletic programs. Additionally, Sullivan serves as the Director of Bronco Baseball Academy, where he manages a staff of 25 coaches and runs summer camps with over 125 youth players per week.

Besides his work at Miramonte and Bronco Baseball Academy, Kevin works at Shadowbrook Winery in Walnut Creek.  He was born and raised in Walnut Creek and continues to live there today.

Our Coaches

We utilize high school and college baseball players to serve as the coaches for our BashBall teams. Each coach goes through an extenstive background check and is trained on postive baseball and softball coaching techniques. If you, or someone you know is interested in serving as a BashBall coach, please contact us at [email protected].

Parent Volunteers

Every BashBall team needs 1-2 parent volunteers to commit to assisting the team's student-athlete coach on Sundays during practices/games. Parent volunteers get to be down on the field with the players and help manage lineups, dugouts, defensive positions, and overall management of playes and teams.
