Our team is driven by the conviction that baseball still reigns supreme as America's pastime and the greatest game on Earth. However, we acknowledge that the youth version of the game could use a makeover. While charming, traditional youth baseball games tend to drag on, stretching too long and becoming overly complex and difficult for young players. Moreover, youth baseball games don't provide enough at-bats and defensive opportunities to help kids develop their skills and improve their confidence.

Enter BashBall.

BashBall revolutionizes youth baseball by zeroing in on its most thrilling elements: hitting and defense. In each BashBall game, players enjoy approximately 20 at-bats and defensive opportunities. Over the nine-week season, this means players will have approximately 200 competitive at-bats and defensive opportunities, respectively. With no pitching or baserunning involved, BashBall maintains a brisk pace without taxing kids' arms or bodies. Gone are the typical moments of idleness on the bench, kicking dirt, or picking grass in the outfield. BashBall provides non-stop action at a fast pace that keeps players fully engaged at all times.

We firmly believe that young athletes thrive when they're actively competing and genuinely enjoying the game. BashBall seamlessly blends everything kids love about baseball—hitting, fielding, competing, and playing with their friends—while eliminating the factors that dampen their enthusiasm: sluggish gameplay, limited action, challenging pitching, errors, strikeouts, and scarce opportunities.

Much like the carefree days of "Street Ball," "Wiffle Ball," and "Homerun Derby," BashBall is designed to enhance your child's skills, and reignite their passion for America's favorite pastime.

• COMPETITION: In our BashBall Fall League, we compete. Every at bat, every play, every inning, and every game. We believe this healthy competition keeps things exciting and helps our players improve their mental approach to the game.

• DEVELOPMENT: We know that players improve their skills by getting live reps in competitive situations. BashBall ensures this by providing 20 at-bats per player per game, and just as many defensive opportunities for every player.

• SIMPLICITY: Baseball and softball are complex games. BashBall keeps things simple and focuses on the two most important skills: hitting and fielding. This helps players stay focused, gain confidence, and experience growth.

• ACTION: Youth baseball is too slow and too long. BashBall fixes that by using timed innings, only two pitches per batter, and limited players on defense. We believe that the fast-paced, high-intensity games of BashBall will ensure that players will always leave wanting more.

• BALANCE: With more kids playing baseball and softball year around, we are seeing over-use injuries skyrocket and player burnout increase. BashBall is just once a week and focuses on hitting and fielding, so players will not wear out their arms, bodies, or love of the game.

Our team has been inspired over the last 20+ years by other adapted sports like futsal, indoor soccer, mini golf, bumper bowling, 3 on 3 basketball, and flag football. And, since 2021, we've consistently seen the success of adapated baseball games like Wiffle Ball, Money Ball, and Bronco Ball at our Bronco Baseball Academy youth summer camps. So we know that youth baseball can adapt - just like other sports have.

Our approach challenges the norms of traditional youth baseball with modifications geared towards making the youth baseball experience more dynamic and rewarding. By speeding up gameplay, simplifying rules, and focusing on the essential skills of hitting and defense, we create and environment where young ballplayers can thrive.

Moreover, we recognize the time constraints and intimidation factors that youth baseball presents for many kids and families. Our goal is to make the game more accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved. By streamlining gameplay and prioritizing success over complexity, we aim to reduce frustration and ensure that every child has the chance to participate and succeed. And frankly, we want everybody to get home in time for church, the 49ers' game, an afternoon hike, a nap, or whatever else has to get done on your busy Sundays.
